November 9–15, 2009 – Veterans’ Week
In recognition of their service to our country, American veterans receive free admission to the museum this week.
 Wednesday, November 11, 2009 – Veterans’ Day
American veterans will be honored onboard the aircraft carrier USS Hornet during a special public Veterans Day ceremony. Guest speaker CDR Randall Ramian will talk about his experiences in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The ceremony begins at 11:00am.
Thursday, November 19, 2009 – History Mystery “After-Hours” Tour
 The History Mystery Tour offers a unique chance to tour the USS Hornet after hours and learn the history of this incredible ship while it is illuminated in the red lights used for “night ops.” We’ll go deep into HORNET where you will also hear the stories behind her legendary haunts. Friday, November 20, 2009 – Family Overnight Experience
