Carl J. Seiberlich Fund for Youth Education

Donation in Memory of RADM Carl J. Seiberlich

On March 24, 2006 RADM Carl Seiberlich, the last Commanding Officer of the USS Hornet, passed away unexpectedly. RADM Seiberlich, a Sea Scout, merchant mariner, combat veteran, career naval officer, Apollo recovery commander and award winning consultant to the transportation industry, was clearly a leading member of “the greatest generation.” View RADM Seiberlich’s biography.

At the request of his family, we have established a fund in his name – the “RADM Carl J Seiberlich Fund for Youth Education” at the USS Hornet Museum. If you wish to make a contribution in memory of this great American, there are two methods.

For those wishing to charge a donation on your credit card via the Internet, please click on this link for our secure order form – RADM Seiberlich Fund.

For those who wish to send a check, please make it out to the “Aircraft Carrier Hornet Foundation” or “ACHF” and mail it to:

RADM Seiberlich Fund

PO Box 460
Alameda, CA 94501

In all cases, we will record your donation and provide you with an acknowledgement for your records. We will also make RADM Seiberlich’s family aware of your generosity in helping one of his favorite non-profit organizations fulfill its community service obligations.

Contributions are fully tax-deductible and support the ongoing operation and restoration of the aircraft carrier USS Hornet Museum.

Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
