Leave A Legacy

The USS Hornet (CV-12) is one of the most decorated ships in the U.S. Navy; most notably, she was active in the Pacific during World War II and participated in the recovery missions of Apollo 11 & 12. Each year more than 50,000 people visit the USS Hornet Museum to experience this amazing vessel. Hornet also provides an educational platform for over 12,000 children, their parents, and teachers yearly through our Live Aboard, “Step into History,” and “Stem to Stern” programs.

We invite you to support our mission and preserve the living history of the Hornet for all future generations. Be part of our legacy.

You can become a Legacy Donor by making a planned gift to the museum.

There are a number of gift planning options, from a bequest in your will to life-income gifts. In taking the time to compose an effective legacy plan, we urge you to respect and balance your commitment to the USS Hornet Museum and the needs of your family and heirs. Please contact your financial or legal advisor to find out more information regarding what steps you need to take to support the USS Hornet Museum through a planned gift.
