1) How much do tickets cost?

Advance tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for Youth (5-17 years) all tickets are General Admission. Adult tickets will be $25 at the door.

2) Are there any discounts on ticket purchases?

Save $5 on adult tickets by purchasing your tickets prior to October 27. (Admission at the door is $25.) Members are admitted free.

We have a great membership program that provides free admission to both this year’s and next year’s event, plus our annual Fourth of July Party, plus museum admission through the end of next October – it’s only $75 for the “Family & Friends” level.

3) How is the seating arranged? Is there any Reserved seating?

All seats are General Admission - seating is available on a first-come basis on the night of the event.

4) Are food and beverages included in the price of the ticket?

No, but a great selection of food can be purchased separately for a nominal charge at a food concession on the main deck.

5) What food will be available for purchase?

The menu choices include hotdogs, sandwiches, burritos, and nachos. The food concession will be available 7:30pm-11:00pm. Prices are very reasonable and range from $3 - $7.

6) Is there a bar? How much do drinks cost?

There will be several cash bars on the main deck selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Beverage prices range from $1.50 for sodas to $5.00 for alcoholic drinks.

7) How should I dress?

We encourage Halloween costumes. Prizes will be awarded in several categories from spookiest to most creative.

8) Does the ship go anywhere?

No. The engines do not function and the ship remains permanently tied to the pier.

9) What time should I be there?

The gates open at 7:00pm. Live, live dance music with LIVEWIRE will begin at 8:00pm. Prizes for best costumes will be awarded at 10:00pm and the Haunted Laboratory and Elvira’s “Fright Simulator” will be available between 7:30pm and midnight. The doors will remain open for arrivals until 11:00pm.

10) How late does the evening go?

The event ends at midnight, 12:30am.

11) Is there plenty of parking? How much does it cost?

Yes. There is plenty of FREE parking across the street from the pier.

12) Is there an ATM machine onboard?

There is no cash machine onboard the ship, so please be prepared. Food and beverage concessions do not accept credit cards, and the Ship’s Store and Ticket Desk accept credit cards for purchases only.

13) Are people under 21 years old allowed?

Children are welcome. Although the party is being planned for an adult audience, it is a family-friendly event. There is a special area with activities planned for children, including the haunted hospital and Halloween crafts.

14) What activities are planned for the evening?

This family-friendly event will feature fun dance music by Livewire, prizes for best costumes, and a special children’s area. The crew also plans to give visitors a good fright throughout the evening with haunted tours and other treats. Don’t miss a chance to ride the flight simulator through a Virtual Time Warp ($5/ride per person).

15) How many people attend these dances?

We have one of the largest dance floors in the Bay Area and can easily accommodate 1,000 guests.

16) Will the ship be heated?

Yes, if the weather requires it, there will be heating aboard ship. Please keep in mind that this is a large ship and can be drafty. We recommend that you bring a wrap or light sweater to enjoy the bay view from the Ship’s Fantail.

17) What can you tell me about the music?

LIVEWIRE is a dance cover band that showcases a diverse mix of the best danceable songs from the 1970s through current dance hits. The band accurately covers a wide range of dance music, from Kool and the Gang, Chic, and Bon Jovi to Maroon 5, Gwen Stefani, and Weezer. LIVEWIRE’s shows are always high-quality, interactive and entertaining. With a unique combination of top musicianship, lush vocal harmonies, years of experience, and the best dance tunes, the band will have guests groovin' on the dance floor all night!

18) When will tickets be available?

Tickets will be mailed out the week of October 9th. Orders received after 1pm on Monday, Oct 22, will be place in Will Call.

19) Will tickets be available at the door?

If the event is not sold out, the cost will be $25 for Adults and $10 for Children (5-17 years).

20) How can I order tickets?
