The 20-minute presentation reveals interesting facts about this magnificent ship while covering the history of the name HORNET; the history of the two aircraft carriers named USS Hornet and how they served our country from 1942 through 1970; and the ship’s exploits during World War II, the Cold War, Vietnam, and the Space Program.
