Please join the USS Hornet as we celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing and the Hornet’s role in the recovery of the astronauts when they splashed back down on Earth! Come by to learn about the most important historical achievement of the 20th century and have fun with your whole family.
Please join us in the Wardroom on the USS Hornet at 1 PM to hear Docent Bill Miklos’ presentation about the USS Hornet’s recovery of the all Navy Apollo 12 astronauts.
This event is free with regular admission to the museum.

Apollo 12 Recovery Presentation:
The USS Hornet will be hosting a speaker series event on November 19th in the Wardroom. The topic will be the recovery of Apollo 12 capsule and astronauts by the USS Hornet and the presentation will be given by Docent Bill Miklos at 11 AM,
Please join the USS Hornet Museum as we host our annual Apollo 11 Splashdown/Space Exploration Day on July 23rd from 10 am to 5 pm. We have a very exciting program for the whole family and hope you can make it this year!
