The USS Hornet, Yelp, and the CA Beer Society is proud to present the 2nd Annual Battlestar Classic BeerFest and Cornhole Tournament to benefit the USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum.

What: The 64-team Cornhole tournament will feature advanced and amateur brackets played on the flight deck of the mighty USS Hornet, one of the most decorated ships in the U.S. Navy.

Where: We are honored to have the privilege of launching Cornhole Bags from the mighty USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier. A recipient of nine Battle Stars, and the prime recovery ship for the Apollo Moon Missions.

Why: The advanced and amateur champions will take home the coveted Battlestar Classic Growler Trophies. Prizes also go to our second and third place Cornhole teams.  Raffle Prizes available, as well as food from the Flight Deck Food Court.

Nor-Cal’s finest brews will be available from our Beer Squadrons on the Alameda Island Brewing Company Beer Deck with festival ticket purchase:

We will also have food available and raffle prizes with local treats and goodies.  Guests are free to bring chairs.  We also encourage you to explore and learn about USS Hornet during your stay. Children can attend the event at regular museum admission but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
