The Aircraft Carrier Hornet Foundation preserves and honors the legacy of USS Hornet, a National and State Historic Landmark, and its role in naval aviation history, the defense of our country, the Apollo Program, and exploration of space. The USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum connects the greatest generation of Americans with future generations, educating and inspiring them to meet the challenges they will face in the days to come.

Come aboard and experience a night in the life of a sailor on a WWII aircraft carrier! We offer the ultimate overnight experience for scouts, youth groups, friends, and families!

Is there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Participants must be at least 6 years old.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is free parking in the lot in front of the ship.

What can I bring into the event?

Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, and toothbrush. All overnight bags should be no larger than an airplane carry on. Some passages are narrow and the ladders can be steep, anything larger will be difficult to carry.
