NOW HEAR THIS! NOW HEAR THIS!
The USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum, in conjunction with the International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS) is proud to host the 2nd Annual Model Expo and Open Cockpit Day on Saturday November 17th 2018. Join us from 10 am-4 pm on for an incredible day of artistic achievement, family fun, and history aboard the USS Hornet!
During the event, modelers from around the state will showcase their artistic skills in a friendly, yet spirited competition presided over by local IPMS judges. Youth and adults, amateurs and professionals alike are encouraged to enter. The Hornet is lucky enough to have a new chapter created just for us, IPMS Grey Ghost.
In addition to standard competition categories like Best Small Aircraft, Best Military Vehicle, Best Science Fiction and Fantasy Subjects (scroll down for the full list!), IPMS Grey Ghost will be introducing 3 new categories just for this contest:
