Walking Ghosts of Black History

Background Info:

Mickey Ganitch: WWII and Korean War Veteran, he was serving aboard  USS Pennsylvania at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. Will be 100 years old on November 16th.

Flying Tigers Flight Attendants: Working for Flying Tiger Line (Cargo Airline set up after WW2) in the 1960s and 1970s, these women attended to US forces travelling to and from Vietnam during the Vietnam War. They will be on hand to tell their stories and share pictures and artifacts from those flights to and from Vietnam.

The Walking Ghosts of Black History: Are a living history organization. Their mission is to foster greater awareness of this knowledge and the need of its preservation, thereby creating constructive changes in our society’s understanding  of the African-American contributions to our nation’s Military Armed Forces. They will be present in history specific uniforms to tell their stories. With them will be their guests: Their Angels Military Support Group and the Census Bureau.
